Sesame Street Cake

I always love making Sesame Street cakes or any of the characters - they really do make you smile!  Here's a cute cake for a 1st birthday.  All the characters are handmade out of sugarpaste and the cake is 8 layers of lemon butter cake.
A view from the side - I love the alphabet letters around the bottom of the cake.

As always, your figures are spot on! But I especially love your Big Bird!! The texturing looks very feathery!

Juanita, when are you going to start traveling and teaching classes? Awesome work!

Oh, some of the cake was given to the rental office and the rest we ate.

AMAZING Juanita!!!

You are a master sculptor! When you say sugar paste, you're referring to fondant, not gumpaste?

You nailed the characters!!

Hi Lindsay - Thanks. When I say sugarpaste on my blog, I use it interchangeably with fondant, gumpaste and also modelling paste.
